You can find it in the Thirsy River Mission in the last of the areas, Josse, like previously stated by many others. I really enjoy this spell and have not really experienced any real problems with it.

Why ?
1. You try to use it in the window where target ally is about 35% health to get the full effect. The road down to 0 is fast and furious.
2. It takes to long to cast to be an emergency heal. And if you are dealing with spike damage in the 35% window. Often the result is death for your target.
I am sick of it. In PvE yes, when you have some time and mobs don't do too much damage, yes great...somewhat...
I am droppin it...

you know, i agree with you...WoH is very hard to use to its fullest effect...that's why I still carry Orison, Sig of Devotion and Dwayna's Kiss on me (for heavily-enchanted teammates). Divine Boon is a staple on my monks, unless my team runs Nature's Renewal.

yes, you are correct. i think Maxiemonster misunderstood how WoH works...
that's why WoH is a very hard healing spell to use at its maximum potential, if you're running Divine Boon...it's for the "last-ditch" emergency heals...

Ah, so that's the problem Thank you very much for testing. I'm using it again after running Peace and Harmony and Martyr a while But since I use Divine Boon + 13/15 Divine Favor, I'm pretty much screwed, since I might as well take Dwayna's Kiss/Orison of Healing and take Peace and Harmony as an Elite instead again.. So I'll change back, again
I think this should be changed, since this makes the Word of Healing effect rather confusing.. I'll send ANet an email, I hope they take is serious and they'll do something with it

Yeah, send them an email. There's no way an after-effect like the Divine Boon health bonus should work BEFORE the actual effects of the main spell you're casting. I too was starting to wonder if Word of Healing was bugged (sometimes wasn't noticing the extra health bonus from WoH on borderline ~50% health heals) but this seems to be the real reason why.
Needs to be fixed if this is indeed the case. Although it's a nice spell for quick 5-spot heal spells (Orison and WoH), the fact that it's an elite, a 'heal other', and this Divine Boon miscalculation when deciding whether or not to give the damn health bonus REALLY kills its value.

I agree the Divine Favor bugs kills this skill's value : it's just not worth the elite slot for a Monk. On the other hand, I often take it on my Wa/Mo. I'm not supposed to act as a healer unless things get bad, so most times it plays out for full effect ; I obviously don't have a Divine Favor problem ; the low energy consumption is a real boon considering my limited pool. All in all, it's worth sacrificing my Elite slot when the party has only one Monk primary.
I actually used it to keep my whole party alive during the Elona Falls mission, when we realised our monk was a lucridous 105 invincimonk build that kept aggroing mobs and shouting "don't interrupt me".
All in all, a cheaper Heal Others more fit for secondaries.

VERY GOOD HEALING SPELL.I can heal lvl 20s from 10% to 100% in 1 sec. This spell actually has like no casting time its like orison or even faster i think.u should be healing most of ur ppl with this if they hav 40-60% becuz it takes so lil damage to kill some1 so do it in that timeframe and theyll probly get the extra boost

Mineral Springs are north of the Granite Citadel in the South Shiverpeaks.
And Word of Healing is my favourite healing skill, I find it more often than not glued to my skillbar. Very few times have I removed it.

World of Healing is a thing of the past now, which it should be, since most builds that run WOH as an elite aren't that effective, unless fighting against something that needs a spike heal, which I'd just take Infuse Life for in the first place, since that doesn't take you elite slot

Well, now you either see spike or huge degen teams, but in PvE I use this skill more than any other monk elite (restore condition if I'm going prot) just because it saves 25 energy ever 5 heals as oppsoed to heal other.

I have noticed the same problem kingfencer has experienced, making this elite not so special. It only seems to work correctly about half the time.

is anyone noticing the skill not healing AT ALL? much like infuse was bugged a while ago?
Or is it a combo of lag and/or timing so it only seems that way?
